/buddyread finish
Mark a buddy reading session as finished for both you and your paired buddy. Use this command when you’ve completed your buddy read and want to officially close the session. Both users will be notified that the session is finished.
Usage
/buddyread finish <book>
<book>– The title of the book for the buddy reading session you want to mark as finished
When you use this command both parties are notified
Example
/buddyread finish "Legends & Lattes"
This will:
- Mark your buddy read session for “Legends & Lattes” as finished for both you and your buddy
- Remove the session from your list of active buddy reads
- Send a notification to both participants letting them know the session is complete
Notes
- Only use this command once you and your buddy have completed the book
- Either participant can finish the session—both will be notified
- Finished sessions are archived and no longer appear in your active sessions list
- This does not delete your message history for the session
