Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Elysium ("the Bot"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must remove the Bot from your server and discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Bot, in compliance with Discord's own Terms of Service. Server administrators are responsible for ensuring their members comply with applicable age requirements.

3. Permitted Use

Elysium is designed to enhance reading communities — supporting buddy reads, book tracking, reviews, sprints, journaling, habits, mood logging, and more. You agree to use the Bot only for its intended purposes and not to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through any Bot feature
• Violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
• Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Bot's functionality
• Use the Bot to distribute spam or malicious content
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through Bot commands (reviews, journals, confessions, etc.)

4. User-Generated Content

Elysium allows users to create and store personal content such as journal entries, book reviews, reading progress, mood logs, and habit data. You are solely responsible for the content you submit. By using these features, you confirm that your content does not violate any laws or Discord's guidelines.

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access to users who abuse these features.

5. Data

Elysium stores user-specific data (such as reading progress, journal entries, reviews, habits, and mood logs) and server-specific configuration data necessary to provide its features. This data is used solely to operate the Bot and is not sold or shared with third parties. Personal data associated with a user may be deleted upon request. Server data may be deleted upon Bot removal.

6. Availability

Elysium is provided as-is. We make no guarantees of uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service. The Bot may be taken offline for maintenance, updates, or other reasons at any time without notice. Reading data and other stored content may be subject to loss in the event of service disruptions.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to Elysium for any server or user that violates these Terms of Service, Discord's Terms of Service, or engages in behavior deemed harmful to the community.

8. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
